RATU BOKO TEMPLE

Ratu Boko Temple is located ± 200m above level on a montain and ± 3 km south from Prambanan Temple. Its one of fascinating ancient temple in Yogyakarta. It displayed a blend of Hindu and Buddha architectual element indicating the extensive spread of both religion in Indonesia.

Ratu Boko Temple has a widith of 2,5 lakh square meter and boats beautiful moment, terraces, ponds and temples.

At Ratu Boko temple you'll also see a series of cultural pools carved into the line stone. These were used royal baths.

Royal Baths

at ratu boko are two caves formed of sediment stone.

The upper is called "goa lanang" and the lower is called "goa wadon".
